BE THE FISH, NOT THE FISHERMAN!

Another case that I did, involved a lady being possessed by an evil spirit and this case was also medically related. This lady behaved as if she was in trance and was very aggressive. My job was done, and she was cured through the power of the Divine. She was only able to eat after taking some acid tablets. In the process of fighting the negative spirit, Ma cut a lime and made her drink the juice and she was fine. Yet, prior to this when she needed to eat, she would have to take the tablet. What was truly amazing was that lime is more acidic but yet she was able to drink this without any discomfort to her digestive system.

Later, when she had an operation, the surgeon found a black, slimy ball of hair, the size of a tennis ball. It was removed from behind her heart. At the hospital, the inner voice and message from Swami came to me: “Be the Fish, not the Fisherman!”

The fish, in order to survive, must live in water. If we see the water as “God” and the fish as “the lady”, we would be able to understand that God (water) is actually all around us. So if we stay with God, we are sure to stay alive. God has created a beautiful Kingdom for the marine life also. In this kingdom, there are also predators, just like those found on land.

We look at the fisherman, who sits on the banks of the river and also in boats. He hooks on the bait and waits for the fish to bite. We can be seen as the unsuspecting fish. The fisherman is Satan. It’s quite understandable that he fishes for his meal, but in this story we see quite clearly how he attempts to trap the fish.

The fish, on the other hand is blessed with all his needs in his kingdom of God. Despite this, he is still tempted by the meagre (small) bait on the end of the line. Strange are the ways of the fish. He has an abundant choice of fresh food, sardines etc, yet he chooses to be tempted by the frozen sardines that is used as bait. Temptation makes fools of souls! We, seen as the fish have everything we need in our lives, but we still continue to be tempted by Satan, which is why we are always getting into trouble.

We are tempted by bribery, accumulation of material wealth and greed. We never seem satisfied. There’s a constant hunger and yearning for “more!”. Such temptations are the hand of Evil. Our life is beautiful and we should never complicate it. We need to live simply, be content with what we have. We should share if we have spare. God gave us a purpose. He wanted us to be the Contributors to the kingdom he blessed us with. He wanted us to be good, to help and not hurt. He wanted us to beat the fisherman, not be fooled by him. We could always accomplish this since we have God on our side.

The message is clear…………………

“Be the fish in the water, and you will be safe, but if you are tempted by the fisherman, you will be his meal”. Make your choice as I have made mine.
