The GOD we serve is a merciful GOD, but the Law of Karma will still prevail! We are allowed to make mistakes, but we cannot make the same mistakes a thousand times, then we are foolish. We can make a thousand different mistakes from which we will learn more.

There were two brothers who lived in a village. They were quite mischievous and did some rather unacceptable deeds. One day they decided to steal sheep. But they got caught. The village chief was responsible for the task of passing judgement and meting out the necessary punishment. The two brothers were found guilty. The punishment they received, was that the letters ST be tattooed on their foreheads, so that whoever saw them would know that they had stolen sheep.
A year went by, and sadly one brother could not handle the embarrassment and decided to hang himself. The other brother was sad because he was courageous, as long as he had his brother to support him, but in the absence of his brother he felt very fearful and lonely. It is often said that a man has the courage of a warrior when he has company, but he is cowardly when alone.

Many more years passed and he grew older. A new generation of people had assumed control over the village. One day the man was sitting under a big tree, in meditation pose. He had a white beard, and was adorned with a piece of cloth around his waist. A group of curious children gathered around him and waited patiently for him to notice them. He could hear the children saying… “He is a Saint.” Another child asked interestedly how the first child knew this. The first child answered somewhat confidently that the letters printed on his forehead was indeed the abbreviation of the word Saint.

The story teaches us that through repentance, one can receive GOD’S blessings. But this can only be achieved by admitting our mistakes, taking responsibility for them and showing remorse.
There is no perfect human being. We will all have our flaws. We will make mistakes in our journey through life. But we should always strive not to hurt, but to help.

HELP EVER…HURT NEVER!
