On our spiritual journey and as duty calls, we had to go to a family and render our services. We arrived at their home which was a huge house with 5 cars parked in carports. A common human trait is that we make assumptions as to what we see, but we were proven wrong with our assumptions. The lady of this particular home was plagued by evil spirts. We were about to commence with our prayer when I asked the husband and wife where their children were.
They replied that they didn’t have children. The couple was about 54 and 56 years of age. I didn’t question this, assuming that they had a problem. I was about to start the prayer, when I got Baba’s message: “If I give you children, would you accept?.” The response was: “We are too old for that.” We did the prayer and left their home.
On Sundays, in my role as Guru, I offer counselling and I conduct personal interviews, offering help and advice. The above case was brought to me on a Sunday. I was sitting with the lady, and doing my usual work, with Baba’s guidance. I held her hand and transported myself into the astral world. The image I saw, was that of water and trees and a rowing boat. I was a bit confused as to what it meant. Then I received Baba’s message, which was “Swamp”. I was confused even further and asked Baba for more information regarding this “Swamp”. Then Baba said to me: “Swamp is life, water is life, tree is life, and the boat is the spirit.”
I couldn’t figure out what Baba was saying. I asked her questions, taking her thirty years into her past, as to what her marriage was like. I only knew this lady for a month. I asked her if she had a miscarriage, or if she had an abortion. She was clearly taken aback and kept quiet. I told her if she didn’t work with me, I would not be able to help her. She then agreed to speak.
She told me, when she was 24 years old, she had married and had gotten pregnant. She was 3 months pregnant, and due to pressure from her in-laws and husband, she had to abort the baby. I asked her, who knew of this incident, and she replied that it was just her husband and herself. There was nothing much I could do about this case since it had happened about 30 years ago.
I asked Baba to help her with this. The image of the water, trees and the rowing boat, which was stuck in the swamp, then made sense to me. Baba’s message was that if she needed to be helped, she had to do something. She needed to adopt a girl child from somebody. She needed to support this child until she reached matric. She and her husband needed to provide this child with all her basic needs. She agreed to this. I prayed to Baba to forgive her, taking into consideration her traumatic circumstances.
After I held her hand again, I had the image of the boat moving freely out of the swamp. It was no longer stuck.
Baba’s message was, that the first fish that you catch you must give away. The second fish you catch, you can take 50% and give away 50%. The third fish you catch, can be taken in totality. Baba said that this will release the spirt of that child to be set free. The lady will then be forgiven.
I gathered from this case that it wasn’t an evil spirit that was worrying her, but it was actually her karma. For 30 years, they believed that an evil spirit was troubling them. They spent thousands of rands trying to rid themselves of this until they stepped into US690 temple where everything is free.
