BOX OF CRAYONS

When we die, the only thing that remains with us are our ACTIONS! There are no guarantees in LIFE. The reward for Life is Death. No man can serve two masters. He either serves GOD or Evil. Happy are those who choose the correct Laws of Life.

I once attended a funeral and was called upon to deliver a speech. As always, I was guided by my inner voice that said: “A BOX OF CRAYONS.”

In a box of crayons, there are different colours that represent us as being unique in our own ways. No one is better than the other. We all are in a box. We are silent, but share togetherness and we enjoy a kind of family bonding.  We emerge from this box when duty allows us to do so.

If we look at an artist as an example, he cannot use only one colour to do his work.  It will look dull and rather boring. A crayon is meant to be used on paper. When we are finished using it, we put it back into the box.  After repeated use of the crayon, it gets smaller and smaller. The lifespan of each crayon will actually depend on how much it was used.  If the crayon is used on a wall with a rough surface, it will soon shrink in size and will no longer be of use.  So too, is the purpose of LIFE.

We all have a purpose on earth. Therefore, we should not outdo ourselves, like a crayon, which was meant for use on a smooth paper, not walls, and when it is finished is put back into the box.  As time passes, the box tends to become noisy. It is the same with life, where we do what we please.  We lose our morals, purpose, principles etc, and we become noisy.  We find that nobody really wants to use a crayon that is too small. Death has come to a certain coloured crayon. It is then taken out of the box and by using a candle, is melted, and waxed onto a bottle to beautify it, just like a person in a portrait. Sometimes a specific colour of crayon may not be used on canvas or paper, but can be used on a monochrome portrait.

A whole box of crayons could be burnt all at once. But as is with Life, this will depend on destiny.  An example of this was the 911 attack of the Twin Towers in New York, where a plane carrying 200 passengers, crashed, killing everyone on board all at once.

What we see at a funeral is exactly like a CRAYON in the BOX!

We must….. LIVE OUR LIFE LIKE THERE IS NO TOMORROW!  The REWARD for living is DEATH!

The artist has used us so that we can leave footprints in people’s hearts.  We must live a colourful LIFE and LIVE LIFE like a LEGEND, because whilst lying in the box (coffin), we lose our name and identity and we are then referred to as a BODY.  A dead man does not know that he is dead, as is with a fool, who does not know he is a fool, but others do!
